The 5th Edition of the Paschal Song Festival on the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan VLADIMIR and His Grace FILARET, Bishop of Căpriana and Dean of the Churches of the Strășeni District, on May 4, 2025, the Strășeni District Council, through the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports, in partnership with the Strășeni Deanery, organized and held the 5th Edition of the Paschal Song Festival on the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women at the “Saints Constantine & Helen” Church.

The event was opened by the District President, Mrs. Mariana Dîmcenco, and Mrs. Mihaela Cucereanu-Iațco, Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports; the Secretary of the Deanery, Protopresb. Victor Mihalachi; Protopresb. Serghei Jmurcov, responsible for the Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports Department of the Strășeni Deanery; and Protopresb. Ion Uglea, parish priest of the “Saints Constantine & Helen” Church.

All 17 groups participating in the festival, who gathered to honor through prayer and Paschal song the sacrifice, love, and devotion of the Myrrh-Bearing Women, were recognized with gifts and flowers. We thank all the participants for their love and the message conveyed through their singing and prayers.
